Shopify Website & eCommerce Coordinator (Part-Time)
The Little Wooden Peg is a growing retail business specialising in baby, children’s and women’s clothing, gifts, and lifestyle products. Based in Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin, we are currently seeking a proactive and creative Shopify Website & eCommerce Coordinator to support the management and continued growth of our online presence.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys both the technical and creative aspects of eCommerce. The role will involve managing product uploads, enhancing SEO performance, and maintaining a visually engaging, user-friendly online shopping experience that reflects our brand.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic and expanding business.
About the Role
As our Shopify Website & eCommerce Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our online store and overall digital customer experience. Working closely with the wider business, you will help ensure the website remains accurate, visually engaging, user-friendly, and fully optimised for online sales and customer engagement.
This position is offered on a part-time basis, approximately two - three days per week, with flexibility for remote, hybrid, or in-store working arrangements depending on the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload, organise, and maintain product listings within Shopify
- Create clear, engaging, and SEO-optimised product descriptions aligned with brand tone and style
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility, traffic, and search performance
- Maintain and regularly update website content, collections, and product information
- Edit and optimise product imagery for both desktop and mobile viewing
- Ensure the website remains visually appealing, accurate, and user-friendly at all times
- Support online merchandising initiatives and customer targeting strategies
- Monitor website performance and presentation, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation
- Assist with seasonal launches, promotional campaigns, and new product uploads
- Help deliver a seamless, consistent, and engaging customer experience across the online store

Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience working with Shopify is essential
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and Google search optimisation
- Experience in retail eCommerce, digital merchandising, or a similar online retail environment
- Ability to edit and optimise product imagery and website visuals
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design software
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
