We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Retail Manager and a Part-Time Retail Assistant.
ASSISTANT RETAIL MANAGER
Preferred working days: Wednesday to Saturday (minimum 4 days per week, with opportunity of moving to 5 days per week). Start Date - September.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team. You'll be a key player who thrives in an interesting and fulfilling retail environment, enjoys tackling everyday challenges and has a genuine passion for retail. You'll help improve overall store operations, drive sales, and enhance the customer experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous retail experience, in a supervisory or keyholder role for a minimum of 1-3 years.
- A genuine interest in quality baby and children's lifestyle products and clothing, along with womenswear and gifting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for delivering great customer service.
- Confident and outgoing, with the ability to build rapport with customers and staff.
- Confident training and supporting new team members.
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- A strong communicator who shares ideas and pitches in wherever needed.
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to problem-solve.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilites:
Store Standards
- Ensure the store is always presentable, well-merchandised, and reflects our brand's position.
- Oversee stock levels, deliveries, and merchandising standards.
Team Leadership
- Lead the team by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
- Train new staff members on products, brands, and customer service standards.
- Keep the team up to date on new lines and brand knowledge.
- Supporting, motivating and guiding floor team members.
- Step in to manage the store in the manager's absence.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Drive sales performance within the store.
- Champion a best-in-class customer service experience for every customer.
Operations
- Supporting Management in day-to-day operations.
- Open and close the store and till.
- Support scheduling to ensure adequate staff coverage during peak times.
- Support our online store and manage daily orders.
- Provide feedback to management on sales, customer service, accounting, and staff performance.
- Escalate any issues or concerns to upper management in a timely manner.

PART-TIME RETAIL ASSISTANT
15-20 hours per week, must be available Fridays and Saturdays. Start Date - September.

We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic retail sales assistant to join our team. You'll be a reliable team player who thrives in an interesting and fulfilling retail environment, enjoys tackling everyday challenges and takes pride in delivering great customer service.
What We're Looking For:
- Retail experience preferred.
- A genuine passion for delivering great customer service and in-store experience.
- Outgoing and confident, with excellent communication with customers to understand their needs and find the right product fit.
- Practical, and comfortable with hands-on work.
- A strong communicator who shares ideas and pitches in wherever needed.
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Open and close the store and till.
- Delivering excellent customer service and driving sales.
- Keeping the shop floor tidy, with shelves well-stocked and organised.
- Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries.
- Getting new stock onto the shop floor, correctly priced and displayed well.
- Escalate any issues or concerns to upper management in a timely manner.
- Supporting our online store through fulfilling online orders and local pickups.
- Maintaining our high standards throughout the store.
