All Apolina clothing is made from natural fibres.
It is possible for cloth woven from natural fibres to have irregularities in the weave compared to man-made fibres, which can be completely smooth and uniform in appearance.
Small slubs and irregularities are an intrinsic quality of the natural fibres, these are not to be deemed as faults.
Lovingly Handcrafted
Due to the handcrafted nature of Apolina clothing, no two items are exactly alike. From the treasured hand finishes, and the hand-guided machine embroidery, to the naturally imperfect corozo buttons, differences will occur between pieces. Natural fabrics have irregularities, patterned fabrics will line up differently from one piece to another, and embroidered motifs may vary slightly in size and positioning. This is all part of the beauty of clothing that is made slowly, and sustainably, from natural materials.
